About the Program

Train. Certify. Get Hired.

Vigilantics’ VIPER (Vocational Instruction for Professional Employment & Retention) program is a workforce training initiative designed to help eligible SNAP participants build practical job skills and prepare for employment opportunities.

Participants develop job readiness skills and may earn industry-recognized certifications through guided training and virtual learning available through the Angel Taught Me Online Training Academy. All training, certifications, and program services are provided at no cost to eligible participants.

How The Program Works

Steps:

1. Eligibility Verification
Confirm eligibility through your SNAP caseworker.

2. Program Enrollment
Meet with program staff to create your employment plan.

3. Training & Certification
Complete job readiness training and industry certifications.

4. Employment Preparation
Receive support to help you transition into employment.

  • United States Citizen

    Maryland Resident

    No criminal convictions

    GED or High School Diploma

    17.5 years or older

    Not received TCA Cash

    Currently receiving or eligible for SNAP benefits
